When you first get engaged it's so overwhelmingly exciting! Where to start, is it the venue, the dress, the cake? It then comes to the question of how to decide what style and flavour of cake to choose. Well, in order to assist with this we do offer wedding taster sessions, or taster boxes. Most often customers do choose the box often, mainly because it can be nicer to not be watched while you eat the cake and form your opinion!
Well, here are a few questions you might be wondering:
If you have already paid your 50% deposit to save the date for your wedding, and the cost of your cake totals over £200, then no, there is no charge. You can choose to have a sit down taster consultation to further discuss your cake and the flavours or you can opt for a taster box to take away and eat at your leisure.
If you have not yet booked your cake and would like to have a taster session or box prior to booking that is also completely fine. However, there would be a charge of £25.00 per session/box required. The taster will include 3 flavours, of my choosing (although if you have a specific flavour request we will do our best to make sure you get to try it). You will also get to sample a few different options for fillings at the same time. If you subsequently choose to book your cake with us then the cost of the taster box will be deducted from the total cost of your cake (provided the cost of the cake is over the £200.00 figure).
Of course! If you are unable to collect a taster box from me in Norwich then I can easily post a box out to you. There would be a cost of £4.50 for postage and the box will be sent by 1st class recorded delivery post. It will also require a signature. We then suggest that the samples are tasted within 48 hours of receipt.
Payment should be made by bank transfer or paypal. Payment details will be sent upon enquiry.
As we do not have shop premises, all tasters are held on location at our residential address. This is the address which we have a 5* local authority health rating for.
