How do an order a cake from Pure Heaven Cakes?

When you first contact us about a wedding cake, we will ask you some information and try to give you a guide price.  If you're happy with the guide price given, we will invite you to visit us to chat about your cake in more detail. It is easier to do this with the use of sketches or photos.  Mostly customers send these via email or Facebook but we can arrange a face to face consultation if you would prefer. We will discuss all aspects of your cake from themes to flavours.

Does Pure Heaven Cakes supply a cake stand, cupcake tower or cutting knife?

 We have a small number of cake stands that can be hired from us if required. The cost of the stand is paid by the customer in full and in order to qualify for full refund of this payment, they should be returned to us within the following week (unless otherwise agreed) of your wedding undamaged and in the condition they were loaned.   The same terms apply to towers and cutting knives. 

Will my cake be delivered to me or my venue?

Generally, most of our wedding cakes can only be delivered and set up by ourselves and we feel this is an important part of our service. We like to make sure that your wedding cake is in our control for as long as possible. To make your day that little bit easier we will contact your venue directly to organise the delivery and set up.


Delivery charges do apply at a rate of 40p per mile each way to your venue if the venue is deemed to be further than we would usually travel for free.  There are occasional exceptions to this however, if you are having a smaller wedding cake it may be possible for you to collect your cake the day before your wedding if you prefer.  We will box the cake securely and advise you on transportation and set up.


Any other cakes or sweet treats can be delivered (subject to availability) but there is a 40p per mile charge for these items.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

 To book your cakes/sweet treats with us we will require a 50% non-refundable deposit (unless otherwise agreed).  Payment of the balance anything other than wedding cakes must be made at the time of collection. We reserve the right to refuse to provide you with your cake if payment isn't received at the time of collection.  Full payment of all wedding cakes must be made no later than two weeks before the date of your wedding.


Once paid, all monies are non-refundable.

How can I pay for my cake/sweet treats?

We accept cash, bank transfer or Paypal.

What if I have a dietary requirement/allergy?

If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know.   We have provided gluten free, dairy free and vegan products in the past but a lot of the time design requirements can interfere with what a customer wants.  Please do contact us if you would like to discuss a special requirement.


If you are allergic to nuts we cannot guarantee to be entirely nut free but we can limit the possibility of contamination.

ALL OUR CAKES ARE PRODUCED IN A KITCHEN WHERE NUTS, GLUTEN, DAIRY AND LACTOSE ARE PRESENT.
